Dr. Chad Rudnick, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician born and raised in Boca Raton, FL. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, graduating with honors and attended medical school at the University of South Florida College of Medicine (Tampa, FL). He completed his pediatric residency training at Miami Children’s Hospital, ranked as one of the “Best Children’s Hospitals in the United States” by U.S. News & World Report. Seeing that children’s health care is too often approached like an “assembly line”, Dr. Rudnick set out to practice medicine akin to pediatricians in the early-mid 1900s, spending as much time as needed with each patient and getting to know all of his families. VIPediatrics prides itself on providing old-fashioned service and treating each child as a VIP. Dr. Rudnick is the recipient of “Best Pediatrician” in the Best of Boca/Boca Raton Forum by Sun-Sentinel and Forum Publishing, as well as a “Top Doc” as voted by Castle Connolly and Concierge Medicine Today.
Dr. Rudnick has long been an advocate for his patients and children across the nation as a published writer and public speaker. He has worked with the American Academy of Pediatrics on advocacy projects to keep children safe from gun violence. Additionally, he partnered with the American Cancer Society on the “Pass the Buck” campaign which brought much needed research dollars to cancer research and helped to decrease the percentage of children who start smoking. As a writer, he has published several articles in medical journals and has co-authored a chapter on allergy/immunology in the Textbook of Family Medicine. He also acts as a contributing author to BocaParent.com, The Parklander Magazine, MomsMiami.com, and KevinMD.com. Additionally, Dr. Rudnick maintains a pediatric based blog where he writes about common conditions affecting children and adolescents. His other interests include medical education and frequently serves as a preceptor for medical students and resident physicians as well as speaking at pre-med programs throughout the country. He is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of General Pediatrics at The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. In addition, Dr. Rudnick has authored a book detailing the journey for students interested in a career as a doctor, The Ultimate Guidebook For Getting Into Medical School. Dr. Rudnick is also the lead researcher on an Internationally acclaimed study on the use of virtual reality for the reduction of pain and fear during childhood immunizations. As a clinical telemedicine specialist, Dr. Rudnick advises on several emerging pediatric medical technologies as he is passionate about the use of telemedicine in pediatrics to improve the quality of care.
Dr. Rudnick lives in Boca Raton, FL with his wife, Ashley, their daughter, and their dog! In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family with hobbies and interests including baseball, basketball, cooking, and theatre.
Dr. Fisch is a “local celebrity” amongst his patients, who have voted him as “Most Compassionate Doctor” and “Patient’s Choice” numerous times throughout his pediatric career in Palm Beach County and New Jersey. Born and raised in Teaneck, NJ with his three brothers, Dr. Fisch grew up playing competitive baseball and soccer and participated in boy scouts, where he developed a love of the outdoors and camping. Through high school and college he trained for and achieved his black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Dr. Fisch received a Bachelors of Science from Columbia University in New York City before going to medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He did his residency program at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, ranked by Newsweek as one of the world’s best hospitals.
Since early adolescence, he has worked with children in many capacities. He has been a youth group leader, camp counselor and even substitute teacher in early adulthood. His goal is to work alongside parents by listening, guiding and supporting, and quarterbacking all aspects of children’s health. He has been practicing general pediatrics since July of 2003. He moved to South Florida summer of 2015 with his wife and two children. On his days off you may find him at the beach with his wife and daughter, hiking around the area, playing ball with his son or catching a matinee at the local cinema.
Nikette Neal, M.D. FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician born & raised in South Florida and has spent a decade practicing pediatrics, where she’s treated thousands of children from babies to college students as a lead pediatrician prior to joining our VIPediatrics family. Dr. Neal completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, medical school at Ross University, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. As a leader in the pediatric community, Dr. Neal was highlighted in South Florida’s 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow by Legacy South Florida!, for her dedication to pediatric care and leadership roles as Course Director, Physician Educator, and Director of Professional Collaboration at NSU’s M.D. program. Dr. Neal was also recognized as a “Top Doc” winner with Castle Connolly, an honor awarded to only 7% of practicing physicians in the U.S.
A champion for leading with compassion and empathy, Dr. Neal loves working alongside parents to guide them through all stages of childhood development to cultivate well-adjusted, happy, and healthy children. She’s built a reputation for going above and beyond to develop deep, long-lasting relationships with families and giving children the personalized care they deserve. As a mom to two beautiful daughters, Dr. Neal approaches patient care with an empathetic “mommy lens” in conjunction with her evidence-based pediatric knowledge. Her warmth, compassion, humor, and unmatched bedside manner make her the kind of pediatrician {and person} you’ll feel like you’ve known forever.
In her spare time, Dr. Neal enjoys family time with her husband and two daughters. She loves singing, theatre, reading, and is committed to giving back to the community through volunteering, mission trips, and outreach.
Dr. Ravi is a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing for over 12 years as both a general and hospitalist pediatrician. As part of our dynamic care team, Dr. Ravi brings more than a decade of experience caring for children admitted to the hospital with medical problems ranging from mild to extremely complex. Dr. Ravi leads our Platinum Program/House Call-based membership and works closely with all of our providers to provide expertise on leading hospital recommendations, ensuring our care team stays up-to-date on pediatric evidence-based medical research. Her vast knowledge of pediatrics in the inpatient and outpatient setting is a huge asset to the VIPediatrics family. Warm, calm, and incredibly sincere, Dr. Ravi loves working with children and parents alike and taking the time to listen judgment-free to concerns and questions and build lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
Originally hailing from Michigan, Dr. Ravi relocated to Florida to complete her pediatric residency training at University of Florida Shands Medical Center & Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, after attending medical school at University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine. Dr. Ravi is also a clinical affiliate professor with the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.
Dr. Ravi and her husband (an adult Emergency Room physician) have 3 kids ages 8, 6, and 3. In her spare time, she loves hiking and rock climbing with her family.
Dr. Mini has over 20 years experience practicing pediatrics and is double trained as both an outpatient and hospitalist board-certified pediatrician. She completed her pediatric residency training at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, medical school at Wayne State University, and received her undergraduate degree from Oakland University. Prior to joining VIPediatrics, Dr. Mini served as the Director of Newborn Services at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital in addition to treating pediatric patients of all ages in her role as a pediatric hospitalist at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, Bethesda East, and West Boca Medical Center. She served on various committees during her tenure including the Pediatric Peer Review Committee and the Evidence-Based Policy Committee.
Prior to her family’s move to Florida nearly a decade ago, she served as the Clinical Service Chair of Pediatrics at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and was also a partner at a large outpatient pediatric practice in Michigan. Her favorite part of working in pediatrics is becoming part of the family and watching children grow, while guiding parents through every age and stage of development. She values forming relationships with her families and taking the time to listen. Her natural warmth and love of kids is absolutely contagious!
As a mom of two children, she understands the importance of the most compassionate and personalized care for your most precious cargo. In her spare time, she loves visiting state parks with her family!
Liz is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and then attended Case Western Reserve University for her Masters in Nursing, before receiving her DNP at Florida Atlantic University. After nearly a decade of working in pediatric outpatient care in both Ohio and Florida as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and DNP, Liz is elated to be part of the VIPediatrics family to help turn pediatrics “right side up” with us!
As Director of Parent Education at VIPediatrics, Liz loves building relationships with families and taking the time to educate parents on all aspects of childhood development and pediatric care. In her spare time, she loves going to concerts, reading, theatre, and spending time with her family, baby girl, and her giant dog, “Little Louie.”
Mandy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience working in pediatrics. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Florida State University and then attended Florida Atlantic University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. A champion for pediatric patient advocacy, Mandy worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center on the pediatric unit as both RN and leader/preceptor. Prior to joining the VIPediatrics family, Mandy specialized in allergy, immunology, and asthma, where she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner to help diagnose and treat patients in addition to managing both acute and chronic conditions.
Mandy loves working with parents at every stage and loves taking the time to listen and connect with kids and families. Mandy lives in Wellington with her husband and two children, and loves traveling and family time.
